I been driving for a little over a year for a site contractor and been getting the itch to haul water or sand in the oil fields. Manly for the money I hear people are making but also as a way to get out of New York State
Where are the better places to go Texas, Dakota's, Oklahoma, new Mexico, ect.... and who would be the better companies to get in with?

I have experience in tri axle dumps, low boys, flo boys, end dumps, single axle water truck, payloaders, on and off road (road construction), winter conditions (from buffalo ny).

Any input here will be greatly appreciated from anyone actually working in the field. Thanks alot guys

    d o g Thanks this.

Try JMAC in Williston ND they have a variety of runs you can make with belly dumps and side dumps. Housing is a huge issue in ND it is very expensive. Most companies do have housing available. If you choose to run production water beware that the ND winter is no joke everything will freeze there. I worked out there for 4 yrs. You must go there prepared for the conditions there. Be well stay safe.

Nuverra is another one you can check out. Multiple locations. I'm based out of Tioga, ND.

Mrs. Stryker here... My husband started with them beginning of March after graduating with his CDL and loves it. Another one of the guys just started with them about a month ago and also loves it. His buddy said it's like night and day from the company he originally started with.

This thread was started in a different forum. Wingnut made the observation that it would be better in this one. He was correct, so I moved it.

    Wingnut1 and unclegoose Thank this.
