As others have said, come out to the patch and start applying. Just make sure you have the funds to do so. Getting hired isn't the only problem. If yous don't have a decent savings or camper ( some of the guy's have slept in their truck's and cars) housing isn't cheap.

I know the company my husband works for has hired a couple people who had 2 or 3 months experience...one may have been strait out of school. They work (on/off) 5/1, 6/1, 6/1, 6/5.

One of the reasons I left COWS. Got a new manager who didn't like facial hair so they came up with the whole H2S respirator fitted excuse to make everyone shave. Crock of crap. I had to shave my beard for the first time in 20 years. Went 4 months clean shaven until I found the job I wanted and bounced. Won't shave again for anyone.

Was at the Pilot last night talking to a guy that had a beard for 48 years. Never been without it. His wife of 40 years had never seen him without it.

He chopped it off. He said it was worth it. He cleared $111k last year. He said he had his wife and daughter shave it off. Mentioned his wife cried.

Gave me some inspiration but it's still hard.

Yea forgot to mention my wife cried too. Mine is back though and I could clear 100k this year so its not like it can't be done.

I am hauling crude for a third party carrier out of Stillwater Ok. We haul for Sunoco at Devon wells.

I figured. That's pretty much the only places that don't care.

If you check the new feature on this TTR forum on the opening page, there is a company hiring with no experience working the oil fields.

At the top of the page you will see banners, changing every few seconds, of trucking companies advertising.

Nabors will hire you without experience, over the phone.

At the least you will make more money than you are now.
