I just left working a owner op and he charged me $400.00 for a towing bill, I just want to know if he can do that. Every comp. I ever worked for has never charged me or anyone else a towing charged. Please someone let me know if he has the rite to do that. I haul water in the oil field and it had been raining all week, he had me go to a well and got stuck in the mud. I called him that morning and he was pissed off cause his pickup truck couldn't pull the truck free.

Its his truck, & he sent you out, so he should pay for the tow truck. Some bosses do nothing but blame their employee, thankfully I never had such a boss, yet I've heard of many of them.
