I don't -know- that Hireright stores employee information on people who are not in the transportation field. As I stated above, they verified the information we sent to them and would add to it using the resources mentioned above. If you are concerned with what information they have and they store, you should contact Hireright and ask for a full report not just a transportation report. I would be interested in knowing what exactly they store now after being fined for privacy violations. As for challenging the veracity of the information, most of the time you can attempt to correct the information in writing and wait for them to complete their research on the matter. (On a personal note, I can tell you that might take years as I had someone steal my SS# and I have been dealing with the fall out from that theft ever since.)

Here is the update...The confirmation number is to tract your application. Received a call from company and they want me in orientation in a week or so...So when I get to orientation you use the confirmation number, that tells them you are on the list to be their...

The strange part, what I hear then they run your background MV report...Have no problem their...But my partner still has no one getting back to her...strange..thanks yall

What kind of violations does she have? If her MVR is a mess she might have trouble getting on with someone.

I requested my DAC info and ALL employment history that Hireright has on file for me. They will send it to me via email and when I get it, I will let you know what EXACTLY is on the report. (It was free by the way. But you did have to tick all the boxes and not just the DAC info.) Tick, tock.........................

I'm sure I did. I think I even called and talked to someone about it. I just don't think they're very thorough. Companies screw this stuff up all the time and still try to sell the product as if it was good.

Glenn, I am not saying that you did anything incorrectly. After you and I "talked" about it here, I was curious as to what would be on it, so with that in mind, I sent off for mine. We will see what they come up with when I have not submitted an completed application.

Wasn't arguing with you about it. More than anything else I was pointing out that their info is likely unreliable. Sorry if it came across the wrong way.
