Can anyone tell me anything about Pumpco? Pay scale? Numbers of hours you can get weekly, housing, etc. I've heard a few things but that person never even worked for the company. Just trying to see what I might be in for.

I have a few drivers that used to work for pumpco, none of them spoke very highly of them but that was out of the yard in Minot. The final straw for a lot of their drivers was they didnt change pay day, just the time frame for your hours for a specific pay period and it worked out to cost a bunch of drivers big money. Again, that is from disgruntled ex employees so you can't totally trust it.

Only go there as a last option to get a foot in the door. Pay sucks $15.50 hr and only 40 per diem a day. They put you in crap hotel. Serveral murders in the one I was at. Work 14 to 42 hour shifts of you have a hazmat. Trust me, been there and thats what happened to me. Most people on your crew will throw you under the bus. Management is a joke... Communication is severly lacking. All that and I left on good terms recently. Turnover rate is 120%. I could tell you many horror stories. If you do decide to work there, don't believe anything they tell you in orientation. Also, must stay clean shaved. They tell you that is a 14 man crew, but I left and we only had a 7 man crew to do the work of 14, because no one wants to stay there.

I was out of the Vally View Yard working 2 weeks at a time in New Mexico. I have the 135 hour a week pay checks to prove it. and that 120% turn over rate was true when i left. The murders at the hotel happened when i was there!

From what I've heard valley view is horrible. Pleasonton is completely different management and I've heard lots of good things about them. Almost the exact opposite of valley view. I worked under the pleasonton management out of the cleburne yard when it was still open and I had no major complaints.
