Agreed about socks and I'm curious about that as well JAL. I've in ND for 2 years and every once in a while you hear about someone passing out or something like or a truck blowing its motor from h2s getting into the intake but deaths are a rarity, not the norm. I'm wondering if you have "this revolutionary product that will change the oilfield forever!!"

Antero had double-digit deaths since Christmas last year in the NE...Ohio, Pa. and WV.

Allow me to rephrase, it is a rarity in the north dakota oil field. I'm not 100 percent but I don't think we have had an H2S death out herein two years except for one a few months back.

These weren't necessarily H2S...mostly accidents, explosions, falls, crushed by equipment, etc.

Oh ok, that seemed like a high number for strictly H2S which is what I think the OP was referring to.

3 people that I know was exposed last week. One was sick that day another sick for 2 days the third was sick for 4 days. I hear testimonials every week from drivers.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea. And the knowledge that there is danger ahead is very valuable knowledge. I wonder what the costs would be?

Sick, not dead. Also, if guys are getting gassed they probably aren't following the already established guidelines involved when dealing with H2S sites.

    900,000-tons-of-steel Thanks this.
