Regarding the warning system...we are required to have monitors on our person anytime we are on rig property. Your company is supposed to supply these. If yours did not supply one let the safety guy on the rig know and he should contact your company and inform of this necessary safety requirement. -
I ment that a red or green light should let you know of the h2s status of the pad before entering the site. The h2s monitor puts you in danger in order to work.it is still emporten to have one.

They supply monitors, masks, 5 minute packs, warning signs and supplied air tanks for you to mask up and do what you gotta do. What more do you want?

All of these things is not enough. People are still dying. If we had a warning device that communicated the present level of h2s before interring the site it would aid in a educated or informed decision of possible fire or exposure. H2s levels can and do fluctuate. Even with safety devices on person death Plage's the industry.
