Then there is the you get to a location and you hook up and the casing gets stuck; 5 days later its done and you can finish the job or your relief is sent out to relieve you because your duty rotation is over.
Regardless you get sleep time and its paid, not really by Halliburton; but by the rig; because he's ie The Company Man is paying wait time =Dmarine90 Thanks this. -
So then u would stay out at the rig for 5 days? How do you shower or eat?

The longest I've been on a site was 6 days on a surface string to make matters worse; you don't expect it on a surface string but it can happen. Didn't bring the normal 3 days of stuff and neither did the other guys. We ended up dividing up stuff among each other till the 4th day; when we ran out of stuff. The company man released us to go get some supplies in town but wanted us back ASAP, he was adamant that this could be resolved quickly; like the last 3 days lol.... Yes he's the boss when you get on site... He's paying your wages from the moment you hit the site in most cases and definitely after the included hrs on the contract.security58 Thanks this. -
Dang, seems a bit crazy. ..what kinda food would u bring?
