Anyone know of the changes at Big Star Crude in Dilley, TX?

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself and say that I'm a long time reader on here and finally decided to create a profile. I've been looking into Big Star Crude in Dilley, TX. and have found some older posts on here about them, but to my knowledge they've made some changes in the pay scale and what not. Just curious if anyone had any up to date info on this company before I apply. They tell me it's a 4 on 2 off shift, average 10 to 12 hours a day, $60 just to show up on nights, $30 to show up on days. I was also told 3 to 4 loads a day should be the low side. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

 

Thanks. Is that a flat rate or is that the barrel commission? Does $1 per loaded mile sound right (on top of the barrel commission)? If so, how many miles a day did you average loaded?
