Have small down payment, anyone have suggestions on where to buy trk w/ blower? Wtf trucks is in dfw area, was recommended to me.

Who is paying the best, has most loads, and best treatment?

Tutle and Tutle in pleasanton is having some problems and trying to work thru them. Rumor mill is always flakey but solidly consistent.

Averaging 1 load a day (seems to be resolved, but it's too early to tell.)

Low paying loads, (I've not experienced yet)

Favoritism, (Owner pulled 4 of his trucks recently, he was said to be part of the favoritism problem, rumor mill speculation is either Term. Mgr or dispatchers were getting payola.)

Tutle pay dept consistanly making underpayments on settlements, they know it and admit it but apparently won't hire enough personnel to do the job right.

Tutle shop in total disarray, poor time mgmt. Mechanics drive there pov's on breakdown callouts.

Tone of disrespect towards O/O's, multiple complaints.

O/O's required to get Term. Mgr. permission to take a day off regardless of how many days you have worked.

Many if not Most o/o's and some comp. drivers say they are looking to make a change if things don't improve fast.

All this being said and confirmed, tutle is no different than all the rest of the trashy trucking outfits. Some a little better than others.

Any opinions on better outfits, I'm having my doubts that one exists.

    How about pay?

As a driver, 25% of invoice?

Fuel cost deducted from invoice then paid 25%?

All opinions welcomed. My mind is not made up, just fishing for input.

    Rodeorowdy Thanks this.

Reading comprehension must be your strong suit. In short, yeah, sorta. But I provide details to help others and maybe, in kind, details will be provided.

For instance, flex frac is said to be the lowest paying frac sand hauling company around but they can be used as a starter leasing comp cus as an o/o you come in with your bobtail and they will lease you a pump and trailer long enough to save and buy your own.

I want to say around exit 55,MHC Kenworth dealer in FT Worth, sits right on I-35w. They had 2 KW's with blowers on them for sale. This was about two weeks ago, not sure if they're still there.

Look on craigslist, they always have guys getting out of the business. You can find a truck with a blower installed there.

As far as I know. Every company I've spoke to, wants you to have a truck with a blower and your own pneumatic trailer also none of the ones I have contacted are willing to front you the $8500 for the blower.
