The one I just did has 16x400's with one pot. That's the point , if he's running 4 to 500/ hr then no prob into the pipeline but no way a stream of trucks could keep up as the pot load rate is about 180 / hr.
I'm guessing not much could go wrong with the pump........
Just sayin..... -
CTB: Crude tank battery
SWD: Salt water disposal
BBL= barrel = 42 US gallons
POT= Plastic device like bucket, clamps on load line at end to catch spills /drips and protect end from elements.
And RC is asking about the hook up between tanks and what style of hook up they used, can you isolate etc and could one "add on" if needed.
Usual tanks size is 400 barrel and 20' tall. Sometimes 500 BBL and 25 foot tall. Metal tag on back for size, some are 436 bbl. We install anywhere from 10 to 25 at each well depending on anticipated production and I hook them up to the pipeline / gathering system plus the SWD tanks. Sometimes 2 to 8 depending .

Guess I'll try my question again ..... what type of schedule does someone in your position work? How often do you get home, and for how long ? Thanks.

It's really up to you and how well you trust the contractor. It's ur arse if he screws up and covers it up so......I caught my guy using the wrong transitions and not using line tape....so they do have to be watched.
Good?Ben Gunn Thanks this. -
400-500 BPH is a LOT of oil!! Is that going to be the usual production rate after flowback, or just during flowback?
Since there is only one header / pot (and one LACT that probably pumps 350 BPH or thereabouts), I sure hope those tanks are equalized.
