The prefect job is what applies as perfect for you. Personally, I wouldnt take a job just because it pays well. Make sure the equipment you are working with is safe and decently maintained. Im told that a lot of these oil field jobs have poorly maintained equipment, and that alot of those companies have a nasty habit of refusing to fix it when it does break. If i was you, I would take everything they say with a grain of salt and scrutinize everything.

Please don't think I'm bragging, but because they are in need of people up in ND, I got seven job offers in one day. I'm just worried about making the wrong choice since I know that sometimes contracts get cancelled and all the sudden you are stuck in the man camp all day not making any money. I've worked in ND for years and am used to the conditions, but I just want to know what this specific district is like (if someone knows someone who worked there or worked there themselves). Good safety practices and getting decent hours are the things I care about most.

Thanks for the replies so far!

ASRC seems like a solid company. They have really nice Kenworth T800s and MAC trailers, and they also get man camp housing [not sure if it's free or not]

A handful of our drivers have left our company to join ASRC, if that says anything. Also, I don't think they use e-logs, if you're the kind of person who really likes to hustle and run dual paper logs.

The man camp is free and it's nice (saw it the last time i was there). I guess they do use the e-logs but i also really like the equipment. I am just worried about getting enough overtime to keep making the money I was making at my last position.

Was curious about this company also. I had a job offer from them in May but I went to power fuels instead because all my experience is in water, never hauled sand.
But I have to say their trucks and trailers are very nice. Best pneumatic rigs I've ever seen. Triple axle trailers and drops on the tractors.
Anyone have any idea of how much guys are making there?
Do they have ties to Continental resources?
