1. Which one is more laid back?
2. Which one pays more?
3. Which one does more driving?
4. Which one gets more hours?

Cement is much easier work, coil tubing is more physical.

Cement SUCKS! Rig up and rig down every job. On call, and every lob seems to start in the middle of the night. No experience on coil tubing, but everyone I worked with in BH was trying to get into it.
When I went into cement a friend of mine warned me, and I thought about that pretty much every job I went on. Hope whatever decision you make works for yousecurity58 Thanks this. -
been a bottom feeder for close to a year now and just finally found a high paying gig. if your in tx or ND try c&j thats were i started. after you gain experience go fish for a job at a smaller operation that pays day bonuses. stackin bonuses and getin up to 100+ hours in a week you make the big bucks. try to learn all you can. the start new hands as fuel runners while the jobs running and the man up in the basket when you are rigin up or down. its pretty easy work and you will get some decent amount of driving. but prepare to spend more time in a pick up or doghouse than you do at home!
