Alright, here we go. Traveling out to Ft. Worth (Bedford actually) on the 27th. Have family there. Looking to get feedback on water/sand jobs in the area. Really need a place with a man camp until I can sock away some money. Can't hang with family forever. Saw these on Craigslist and am looking for feedback, good, bad, pay rate, contacts, etc.:

All of these were within 2 hours of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Jacksboro - Stevens and Mission Petroleum
    Mesquite - Ames Construction
    Aledo - Shale Tank
    Mansfield - CMS (Chalk Mountain)
    Wichita Falls - Stevens
    Waco - CMS (Chalk Mountain)
    Ardmore - Big Star
    Mansfield - Southwaste
    Cresson - Nabors

Also, any not mentioned that you would recommend?

    Thanks for your help.

Can't think of any companies with man camps in the areas you listed. This area isn't booming with anywhere near the intensity of West Texas, South Texas, and North Dakota. Honestly, wages in the Barnett aren't worth moving here for. I make way more working for an LTL carrier than I ever did hauling water in the Barnett.

Actually, I think Stevens has a man camp in Jacksboro. But I'd really consider one of the other plays.

    Tamiami and cmbks21 Thank this.

Can anyone tell me if any company hires water or crude haulers and has a policy that allows a dog to ride in the truck or at least stay inside in the man camp. I am interested only in South Texas or West Texas-East New Mexico areas.

You want a dog, you're gonna have to go O/O, or get your own place to live. Not gonna happen in a man-camp, or a company truck either more than likely.
