Companies in the north east that will train with cdl permit

I know Schlumberger will and they have a yard in Horseheads, NY, but you won't do much driving. You have to go though a company called Elwood Staffing, and they hire people as frac equipment operators. You have to get your permit first, and after Sclumberger hires you on permanently they will send you to their school in Kelly, OK and train you.

 

Halliburton has work in Pennsylvania. Don't know how far away you are but they train people to get their CDLs too. They have hiring events coming up.

If you have your CDL A with all possible endorsements, you are way past the permit stage. I believe you meant to say that you have your permit with all endorsements.

 

I'm having the same issue myself. I decided to do this on my own rather paying out my rear to a school. Now I have my permit and no way to train. I'm more worried once I get past the driving test and get licensed I won't be able to find something. Most everyone asks that I go to a school or have one year to be able to get hired. Sounds like I might be screwed.

You still say this???? If you only have your permit you do not have a CDL class A
