Anyone have experience with Trade Star Energy, Williston, ND hauling crude oil as an owner operator out there? Any information about this company would be appreciated. Thanks!

I see their trucks every day coming through New Town. No specifics, sorry. Just that they are moving trucks through here, so they have at least some work going on right now. Not sure if they have a yard around here or they are coming from Williston. It's about an hour away so it could be either.

The ones I have seen are rougher than most around here. But not sure if those are O/O or company trucks though. Maybe someone on here has worked for or knows someone who has and get a first hand answer for you.

Good company and straight up people.
They started , Allen had a few trucks, out small and now have over 100 combined drivers and oo in nd. Then a Colorado and Newmexico terminal. They pay as promised and treat folks with respect. They have a lot of new trucks they got this last year so the rough ones must have be oo trucks.
I was gonna go work for them when he first got his authority to jail crude and a contract a few years ago but went to sand instead.
Mid sands slows any more I will go see them. If ur an oo u will need a 4 axel truck with a 18 speed of u wanna make any kind of money. A 3 axel 10 speed with struggle and get torn up quickly hauling those heavy loads off road.

Good of company and I also say this cause I have several friends who work there and hey tell me the scoop about them. They are all happy. Probably one of the real success stories out of the oil feild. Guy started out small now is killing everyone else out here.

Not a good company to work for. I worked for them so I know. I was promised loads. Didn't get them. I was promised money. Didn't make half of what they said I would. If you are a suck up, you can get into management here. Just can't be honest or you'll get fired. And dispatch has a license to lie to you, disrespect you and ignore you. This is because they are related to the owner, Allen, a megalomaniac who puts nepotism and favoritism ahead of safe, zero incident drivers. But they have nice equipment.

Not a good place to work. They lied to me repeatedly and I almost went broke there.
