Recent CDL Class-A graduate from a good 166 Hour CDL course and I am looking to start working as soon as possible.
I have a Class-A CDL with Tank/HazMat, Doubles/Triples, Tow Truck, Metal Coil endorsements, plus OSHA-10 GI, H2S, TWIC, FAST and a passport.
Does anyone know of any companies that are hiring and would consider recent graduates with great records and work ethic? Or should I just apply for the below large companies?
Any Oil/Frac Companies Hire Recent CDL-A Graduates?

Good luck, alot of experienced guys are getting laid off right now. It's possible

Most frac companies were falling over themselves to hire someone with your credentials just six months ago. Now, you will have a hard time finding frac work. Its worth a shot though. I would apply at any service company you can find.

Might be able to get on to a oil field servicing company but haliburton and shulmberger jus laid off about 5k frac, riggers, drillers each in the last month or so. Even the water tankers are taking a lil heat from it. I'd go where you have listed and just wait it out when gas prices rise in a year or two you'll be able to find rig\drill\frac work. I worked on as rigger a few yrs ago then on a drilling rig for last 8months or so last year and opted for a change of scenery. I'd have been screwed if I'd waited till the 1st quarter of this year and out on my ###.

Yea, I worked for Schlumberger and now I'm laid off sitting at home. Oil, at least up here in ohio isn't hiring much at all.

Tried a few companies who had jobs posted on the craigslist and most didn't return my call/e-mails.

Are any of these based in the San Antonio area?

Found a company out of North Dakota and submitted an application. After a week of not hearing from them I was turned down due to not having any driving experience as a recent graduate.
I was trying to avoid starter companies as I have an impressive resume. Should I suck it up for a year? -
