Are you hauling frac pipe, drill pipe, or casing?

Frac String is usually 3"-4" and has funky looking ends, hard to describe. anything like 4" 1/2 ,7", 9" or bigger will be casing and drill piping. You'll know what frac string is because you can fit a ton of them on a truck unlike the others.

We used to hate waiting on trucks when we needed pipe, so we'd be pissed if a truck was late LOL but now I know the other side of the equation so if I knew that then, wouldn't have been a big deal. But yeah we enjoyed cussing up a storm about the trucks hahaha

No frac string that I've seen on any of our trucks. So I guess we just haul the drill and casing stuff. Plus the municipal nat. gas stuff and ocassional water line stuff. it ALL running slow these days.

Don't be surprised if the spot price of oil drops to $30 in the near future.
It's easy to figure out why. Production is still up and the US has doubled its oil output in only 7 yrs.
The main problem is this country is rapidly running out of oil STORAGE.
The oil experts predict that by June it could get real ugly. This glut won't last forever, but it could last a year or more.
It will be interesting how it will pan out.

What your calling Frac string is tubing. It is usually 2 7/8" and is used to clean out the well bore after the frac, it doesn't stay in the ground. Most tubing work is done by a coiled tubing crew anymore although that is expensive and probably going to come to a halt as well. The actual fraccing is done thru the production casing and doesn't have any other pipe put in the well. You could be talking about sucker rod tho which is inserted into oil wells after they have been cleaned out and is connected to the pump jack in order to suck the oil out of the ground.
