Hi,
I was recently laid off from a job in Odessa. I decided rather than pursuing unemployment, I should just look for another job. I found a few companies hiring in Big Lake. One is Pinnergy, which I am considering applying for. Does anyone know if they are a good company to work for? Is their equipment decent? Are they busy, where I would get decent hours, say 50-60 hrs+?

I have heard good and bad, but that is with any company. See if you can talk to a few of their drivers. Panhandle Express always has a sign out that they are hiring and they seem to have work. We helped them out on a flowback about two weeks ago when they needed more trucks. Of course you can check out Nabors but I don't know if we are hiring right now.

Pinnergy uses mack trucks with E-logs. Nice equipment from what I seen. Drivers I talked to complained about the E-log setup. Panhandle is a revolving door for drivers. I would try Garden city,Midland or Big Spring before heading to a town with only 6 rigs.

Thanks for the info. I'm probably gonna go ahead and apply anyway and see what happens.
