ND is going to have some wells fracked in June and December this year, if you are still here. I haul crude and we have never been busier. I put in 68 hours in the last 5 days. Even if you get into hauling water, there is always work for good, safe hazmat drivers. Good luck.

 

There is still work in production hauling oil & water, you just have to find the right yard because some are still working but others, not so much. I run a pump truck and have worked for the same customer every day for the past year so I haven't been affected. You just have to look harder than in the past.

 

Our Big Lake yard is super slow. Some shifts are only getting 6 hours. We are struggling to get our 40 hours.

I'm sorry to hear that. You guys were going strong for a while. I know the drivers in Iraan would have had no work at all if it wasn't for your yard. A few of us have regular gigs (kill truck and vac), but the rest don't and they're struggling to find 40 hrs a week. It's a risky time to jump ship because its hard to tell who has work and who doesn't. Unfortunately you can't rely on potential employers to tell you the truth about this.

 

every few drivers I cross during my spread and little hours are all telling the same tale... hardly reaching 20h a week and from the look of it its all across the map, not just San Angelo.

 

Get your hazmat and look for a crude hauling job. I made decent money with Koch pipeline even when oil was 6 bucks a BBL.
