Really? We are hiring drivers DAILY in STX. We need 15 condensate drivers right now.
I understand your frustration, but you haven't looked everywhere, if you had, you surely would have come across our company, or any of our competitors surrounding our yards whom are trying to hire for the same positions.
Anyone looking for work, feel free to call our national recruiter. She was a driver (tankers) for 7+ years, she knows her stuff in a truck and is a good recruiter as well!

Call/Text anytime between 8am and 6pm.
Some basic requirements in STX (some requirements are company wide, others are local):
Drivers: MUST have 1.5 yrs CDL A driving experience in a Manual transmission CMV. (OTR, Flatbed etc all applicable. We will teach you to haul water if you're a safe and qualified driver!) Must have, or obtain a tank endorsement. (HAZMAT also for condensate).
Clean MVR
7 year criminal background WILL be run and reviewed if any offer of employments are made.
We have rotational schedules available, some man camp availability, relocation bonuses available after 3 months with the company. -
Seems like there are some very different opinions on what the job situation is in Texas and ND. Some say it is good and some say it is not so good. Guess it really might be some place in the middle. Please keep up the info. Im trying to make up my mind which way to go.

The jobs are there, the problem seems to stem from shady companies.
Jobs are out there. ND and TX are both great states to work, however both have not so great places in them. It's the nature of the oilfield, it's an up and down roller coaster. One day everything is great and then the next a federal regulation comes in and slows everything down to a crawl, or some new fly by night company floods an area with cheap labor, so the good companies suffer because they care about their employees and DON'T allow drivers to run illegal.
The list of scenarios can be a mile long.
It all, once again, comes down to you as a driver. What Driver "A" feels is a HORRIBLE company, Driver "C" might think is the best company in the world.
Do your research, heed the warnings of the masses about bad companies, and make the best decision for you as a driver, afterall, no one else can make your choice for you. Just be sure to make your choices with your eyes open to the situation; research housing, cost of living (a cheeseburger and fries at in ND can run your $11-12, vs other "normal" areas the same food is $4.50), quality of life, etc.. -
Thanks for the info. I will call Linda Sue today. God Bless Brothers and Sisters out there. Be safe in the oil fields...

I actually talked to Lindasue yesterday and have a hiring pkt comming..she was very helpful and made it very clear to not label her as a typical recruiter...she made it very plain she wasn't candy coating anything...I have 3a perspective eployers and Nabors is on the list..I have to be picky (unfortunatly) because I HAVE NO HOUSING so it limits my application process...being in ND for 2 yrs has really taught me ALOT but I can't wait to get to TX...I should be recieving PKTs from all 3 about the same time and I will mail them back at the same time so we shall see...wish me luck and Good Luck as well to everyone else
