I have one truck now looking to lease on to a company I have a 379 with a wet kit. A little background info on us: We have been in the trucking field for 18 years we own a truck repair shop and a custom chrome shop in Royalton, MN. We have had trucks for a long time we are wanting to get into the oil field in ND weather doesnt bother us obvisouly we live in northern MN were not afraid to work. Any info on leasing onto a company there would be great. Thank you, Mary Sand

anybody work for Missouri Basin Well Service, Inc or power fuels these 2 company's were recommended 2 me as im looking to move 2 area really interested in Missouri Basin Well Service, Inc on website they haul sand water crude etc.. any info appreciated

To work for Missouri Basin you have to live in Ross, ND in a rig shack. It's near Stanley so it's ideal for the work, but it would suck for someone wanting a life outside of work. Power Fuels has operations all over the place including Minot. (where you could actually have a life) PF and Missouri Basin are the biggest locally owned trucking companies in the basin. Either would be good choices.

Others in Williston would be...
Plains Marketing - crude hauling
Falco - crude
Semcrude - crude
Diamond B - crude
Key - tioga area - water (huge company!) one of the biggest up here.
Hamm and Philips - Tioga/Sidney,MT Also a big company - water/rental
S&S Sales - Williston/Minot - frac sand/water/rental
Basin Trucking - Williston - rental/ pipe
Williston Tank - rental
Red River - flatbed/salt
Stallion - rig move/rental/pipe
IE Miller - rig move
Black Hills -crude/water/pipe/rig move
I'm sure I'm missing many, but these are the bigger ones. Good luck. Most of them have websites if you type in their name in a google search with Williston, ND. Just remember not all jobs are created equal. Crude haulers make big money but they are doing very dangerous work. Same with Rig movers.anwwi, krash13ss, ghostinvegas and 1 other person Thank this. -

I just saw there was a job posted on the N.D Works jobsite for an oilfield job.,They are in Jamestown,N.D.,and the name was Hoffman Trucking LLC..

I also am going to bring a truck up there. I went up there in Oct and made a few contacts. Most companies wanted drivers that I talked to. I have sunk everything I own into this so I can't get hooked up with a company that won't pay. Any info on companies looking to hire o/o's would be appreciated. Thanks

There was some advice about bringing your own equipment up there in another thread here...as in, don't do it, because with the conditions up there, it will quickly turn into a pile of junk. I read a ND oil-field ad on craigslist yesterday..."experienced oil-field haulers only. Truckers, this isn't highway driving!"
Good luck with it! -
any heavy haul jobs

Would anyone happen to know if either Missouri basin or PF hires new drivers? Graduated from school over a month ago and I am still unemployed. If it comes to it I will work OTR but have always wanted to drive for some type of construction outfit (pipeline, oil field, etc.)
