Vitran purchase of Old Dominion?

Vitran purchasing ODFL? Probably the other way around if they are talking one purchasing the other...

Have you seen ODFL's stock? Do you realize they just doubled one of their terminals in CA & opening another nearby? No, Vitran doesn't have the resources to purchase ODFL's 200+ terminals.

LOL. The op is over three years old. So many rumours you hear. Supposedly UPS wants to pick up USF Reddaway from YRC.... Riiiiiight. Cold day in hell before that happens

 

Reddaway is too profitable for YRC to sell. Besides, YRC is the one who does the buying around here!

 

umm look at the stock price on nasdaq if anything vitran would get bought by old dominion vitran is hurting so bad they shut down all there terminals in western united states

 

Current stock per share old dominion $46.6 PER SHARE Vitrans $3.36 per share UMMM who would be buying who

 

Old news by now, but the man that owns Central Transport bought Vitran LTL. We'll have to see what he does with it.
