ODFL relocates San Antonio service center

ODFL relocates San Antonio service center

Quote:
Old Dominion Freight Line -- a less-than-truckload carrier based in Thomasville, N.C. -- has announced a service center relocation in San Antonio. The new 99-door facility -- located on a 17-acre site at 6802 N.E. Loop 410 -- will begin operations under the leadership of terminal manager Don Mode.

“The relocation of the San Antonio service center will allow Old Dominion to continue growth in the greater San Antonio area,” says Gerry Broadwell, vice president of ODFL's Gulf Coast region. “With the additional capacity we have at the new center, Old Dominion will be able to provide the excellent service that our customers are accustomed to, even with the anticipated growth.” http://www.etrucker.com/apps/news/article.asp?id=69131

Looks like OD is trying to diversify their management. Props to them. From what I hear, maybe we will be seeing a little more of them running the roads. Who knows.
