Old Dominion relocates service centers

Old Dominion relocates service centers
8/25/08
Quote:
Old Dominion Freight Line recently announced two service center relocations: in Florence, S.C., and Waynesboro, Va.

The 24-door Florence service center, located on a five-acre site, will continue operations under the leadership of service center manager Todd Brantley, who will direct a staff of 28. “The relocation of the Florence service center will more than double its size, making it more efficient to service our customers with the quality service for which we are known,” says LB Clayton, vice president of the Mid-South region for the less-than-truckload carrier, based in Thomasville, N.C. “Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served.”
