Old Dominion relocates service center in Cookeville, Tenn.

Quote:
Old Dominion Freight Line has announced a service center relocation in Cookeville, Tenn., to a new 25-door facility located on a 7 1/2-acre site. The Cookeville service center will continue operations under the leadership of service center manager Bruce Carter, who will direct a staff of 17.

“The relocation and expansion of the Cookeville service center will allow us to better serve our customers in the upper Cumberland region of middle Tennessee,” says Hugh Morris, vice president of the Southern region for the Thomasville, N.C.-based less-than-truckload carrier. “Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served.”
