Been talkin with driver solutions about going through the cdl program they have and driving for PAM. The sign on is good. $200 after you get your cdl $500 after 90 days and another $500 after another 90. That said, the mileage pay is only going to be 17 and a half cpm. Does anyone know about increases in pay and how long it takes. I understand entry level isnt gonna make alot, but that doesn't sound very good to me. Is this a good pay or should I look elsewhere? Thanks for any feed back you can offer

Is that per diem pay? I went thru Drivers Solutions then to USA Truck and started at .26 cpm, and that was not much at all!
-
Im not sure, in driver solutions site it just say 17 and a half cpm starting off.

The agent I spoke with today told me the 17cpm was for team driving. I too am looking into this company. -
They don't call them...........

for nothing !!!!! -
yeah they look pretty good. Im kinda stuck between pam and crst. crst told me they dont deduct money for school from your pay check and they are only an 8 month contract and after that you owe them nothing. just not sure about team driving.

that's not too bad, cutting 4 months out of a commitment you might not be too happy with. i'm on the fence about signing up with pam, or roehl. i hear way more good than bad about both, but someone said i can get sponsorships through the community college program too, so i'm checking that out today.

wow pay that low,I think I made more many years ago .Just make sure you read every word in any contract and keep copies of everything .I had one try to put a lien on my house in hopes I didn't keep good coppies.
be carefulhelmintoller Thanks this. -
The 17.5 cpm is based on team driving. Appears you live in an area where it may be required for 6 months. That's if there's someone within, I believe, a 100 mile radius of you. If you live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area you'll definitely be going teams.
Good luck to you in whatever path you choose. -
DJT, any idea if they require you to team if you live out near Tontitown? I'm only about 20 minutes from their main terminal.
