In a few hours I'll be eligeble for layover pay. How do I request it? Call my DM or send a message over the qualcomm? What info do I need to send?

I would ask for it over the qualcomm so it's documented. If they are short staffed today, they might tell you to ask your regular dispatcher tomorrow if they are off today.

Then again, if you ask, they might have something and run you all night if that's what you want. :)

I'm not going to ask until I've been parked for 24 hours.

So, I just send them info about when I made my last drop off and that I've been parked sense? Times and dates? That's it?

Yeah, just tell them when you were empty plus 24. Watch your payday. Stuff like that gets lost sometimes and you have to remind them.

I usually ask for layover as:
Need layover pay for 07-04 08:00 to 07-05 09:00, thanks

Then they issue a PO# which you use to get a ComChek express code to cash

Those even work for being 50 or so miles away from delivery and waiting 24 hours plus.
I always figured if they won't work me thwe whole weekend, they pay me $40
