Sent in my request to go on hometime in Kentucky for 8/17 on 8/10. Delivered Friday, didn't get another load out until Saturday. So I wasn't about to deal with Weekend Dispatch to fix it.

Today, called my dispatch, who is out for some reason, and explained that my request didn't show Saturday. Delivered my load in North Little Rock at Noon. Next dispatch at 1pm delivers in Laredo on Wednesday (8/17).

Called the replacement and she huffed like I was bothering her. Screw her. I'm not moving until I have a definite plan to get me home by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. I'm tired of this BS. If they can't get us home, only hire guys from Texas, since that seems to be the only state I see more than any other when I'm out.

I gotta say, they shocked me this time. Got a run that passed by the house that doesn't deliver until 8/24. Gives me plenty of time to be lazy. :)

I've been moved to another DM. It seems she was supposed to be with me all along, but was takeing some time off because she gave birth. We'll see how things go with her. Or maybe I'll get someone else when I connect with my co-driver in Irving later.

    Who the f*** knows?

How's that co-driver thing going btw Scroundel?

I gotta question though, relevant to this post, but under a different branch ...

If you team do you HAVE to take hometime at the same time? Cause my teammates' mom's bday is on the 1st week of Feb and my girlfriend's bday is on the second week of Feb. An easy fix would be sending me solo when he's home and sending him solo when I'm home, but it seems things aren't ever as easy with PAMela as I call her, but for all you experienced guys and girls out there, what do you advise?

Decide if you like his mom more than your gf or maybe he will like your gf more than his mother.
Good luck to whatever you guys figure out!

HA HA wise guy, but yeah we figured it out, I spoke with my DM and he said it was kool, that there are instances where sometimes team drivers have to go solo when the other one is in court or out sick. :p
