not with pam but with recruiters saying there is a "possibility" of a run opening up. Don't buy this malarkey. Get a firm commitment from the company for a specific job like this before signing up or you will be a typical bait and switch victim. get to orientation and the possible job disappears on the last day but "we have over the road open". Watched this garbage twice from companies and always wondered at the people that didn't just get up and walk out. I know I would have.

I was offered and took the Irving to Buda gig. They offered me the job after I'd been with PAM for about a year. It pays a flat rate of $30 each way (so, $60 a day) and you make 5 trips a week unless GM is taking a holiday. I thought the job itself was great, but it just wasn't paying me enough. So, I've gone back to OTR.

There's also another trip going from Irving to someplace in Arkansas that pays the same. You can also apply to be a local driver and drive one of the natural gas trucks. The gas trucks are pretty nice, but you have to refuel them more often than the diesels.
