When you quit, did you leave the truck at an agreed upon location? And did you get that in writing? If not, you screwed yourself out of $400.

Was the truck in need of repairs? They use your escrow for that too

Going into any commitment is a tough decision. I know it took me about 6 months of calling the driver solution recruiters to finally make the leap. Yes it still is a gamble when u get to school. Yes it'll suck more times than not, especially in the seemingly downward trend PAMela is heading in ... But if u are in a situation that calls for desperate measures ... No one on this forum can tell u what to do, its ure decision, ure fate, ure hardship to go thru. Luckily for me, this has worked out; much like urself I was taking a risk in buying a $300+ bus ticket to go to C1 not making a dime for the 3 weeks I was there and the bills were piling up... But sadly not everyone that took that leap is where I am today ... Some didn't even make it past the first day. Some quit six months in ... I guess you should ask urself what will u lose or gain from all this. Check your alternatives and choose wisely. Best of luck
