I know a lot of people have questions about C1 and PAM, I had a lot myself when I started out here. So to give back to the community I'll answer any questions that I can. Just give me time, I'm OTR so I don't always have internet, but I will respond when I do.

what does pam stand for
how do you like it there
is there a terminal near Atlanta
thanks -
are you having to turn tricks on party row for money to survive on yet?
-
There is a terminal in Atlanta, kinda.. It's really just a drop yard, I believe it belongs to Central Transport.
And I hate it here.. I'm leaving at the first chance I get. Its not that bad if your single no bills and need the experience OTR for a better job. Teaming blows...
Money sucks, .175 a mile team.. .24 a mile solo. There is companies out there that will take you with 3 to 6 months and paying .35 to .42 a mile.
Don't get me wrong tho, the company is not bad, there is some great people in the Admin staff that will look out for you.ticktick45acp Thanks this. -

I once had a PAM driver approach me at the j in Russellville, AR and try to sell me some of his clothes to get something to eat.
airforcetoo and 123456 Thank this. -
How many miles you averaging? I just graduated from Future Truckers of America in NC. I am supposed to be leaving September 17th for orientation at PAM.

Do you mean to say you didn't know the pay sucked BEFORE you agreed to work there?
airforcetoo Thanks this.
