Been an O/O with PAM now since November of 2012. Pretty sweet deal on my end.

2750 miles per week (give or take a few)
Dedicated SC to Laredo round trip.
Every load 15k and under for the most part.
The pay isn't great per mile, but with the miles it is decent.
I'm out 4 days, home 3 every week.
Not too fond of my new DM, but oh well.

All in all, when I wasn't on this dedicated lane, I still did good. Keep in mind you don't have to take the load. Let me know what YOU want to do, and they will try to make it happen. I know that they have a lot of Laredo, TX to Michigan routes. Irving-Laredo is common. Just keep in mind that you are a business and figure your break even point, cost of operation, and return of investment numbers. It is not too hard to be fairly successful with PAM. They have a huge Automotive Freight base, and that is the best deal to get into. Keep your truck payments reasonable and your fuel mileage up and you should do fine.

 

If I speak to you at I average 3632miles a week and after I pay fuel plus my truck note I take home 2000 to 2077 dollars each week.... They run like crazy....

Can anyone offer any updates on this particular thread? Thinking about heading toward PAM, as I live in Michigan and their automotive freight base has always been huge.

What prices are they offering on insurances? What is their current FSC? etc.
