So, if I signed the contract to drive for them for a year, so they pay my schooling. What are are the consequences if I decide to "withdraw" my end of the deal?

You will owe them the amount you would have paid out of your own pocket, most likely.

Okay, I just wasn't sure if something more severe would happen. Thinking about using them to get through school, then maybe jumping over to Schneider and paying it back from working there.

Well if you don't complete the contract many things could happen, different companies handle it different ways depending on the circumstances.

    1) They will ask you to pay all their expenses like training, housing, meals, medical exam, drug test, permits, travel, etc...
    2) They will put this on your credit report
    3) They will make a DAC report on you. I have seen them written in different ways depending on the company and the circumstances of the contract being broken, but they never look good. I have seen some that were even 8-10 years old on driver's DACs.
    4) If you failed a pre-hire drug test or a became disqualified due to a medical reason they can put that on your DAC (not the medical condition just that it was a medical issue) and in some cases they are required to report it to your state licensing agency (DMV). Random drug test are the only ones protected under the law, pre-hire and post accident drugs test failures are NOT protected under the law.

I thought they had....well whatever...I don't think its smart to have pam pay for it then leave cuz you'll owe like 6 grand or something, plus probably get a breach of contract business on your dac
