Mandatory team for just six months with Pam? Or am I being misled?

I will be attending school through Driver Solutions soon if all falls into place, then hopefully joining PAM Transport.
The DS recruiter tells me that only 6mo.of team driving is required during the first contracted year. Does anyone know if this is true?
I've become leary of phone promises, especially since this info is really coming from DS, and not from PAM.

dont sign anything. Highly suggest you not team unless youre a fan of sleeping 3 hours a day, fighting with your co driver. Graduate from the school, then evaluate options. Schnieder is good, stevens is good. Dont listen to any recruiters until you finished the school. focus on your skillset.

ONLY 6 months of team? I couldn't make it that long w/o killing someone. I can maybe see 3 or really less but not 6 months.

Yes, you have to team for six months. Unless they cant find someone that is not in reasonable distant from you. But they have been going out further of their radius for placing teams. And I am just gonna say from the get go, you will not survive if unless you drive team with PAM. All the others that commented before me are right. Prepare to get in fights with your co-driver, and no sleep.

Thank you, I can see where there may be problems, as I'm one who would want to stay out for weeks at a time and if paired with a co-driver who wanted his/her home time there could be disagreement. Six months I can do, but twelve, likely no.
