    Hello Everyone,

My name is Anthony but we will just call me Wrong Way Charlie,'

I have finished the Application process with PAM and will be starting School with Driver Solutions C1 Truck Driving school in Springfield, MO on 09/01/2014 10644865_10204510383977548_272502655890340364_n.jpg .
I have passed the DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Check already. I will update this post with my story.

I am a father of 5 children ranging from 9 to 1 year, my loving wife is supportive of my decision to be a OTR Driver, I come from a family of drivers.
I have also started a website to blog about my adventure with Mr. Charlie the Truckin' Bear ( a stuffed bear) I bought to keep the kids involved while I am out on the road. I am also going to write a Children's book series titled The Adventures of Mr. Charlie The Truckin' Bear ©.

    Hope to keep everyone Involved!

Get all the endorsements, especially tanker/hazmat, in case you decide to change jobs later.
I jumped from reefers to tankers and made $15K more is why I mention this.

Congratulations on all your ambitions, Wrongwaycharlie.
But have you really researched this company? I mean, right here in TTR there are plenty of personal accounts that pretty accurately describe the real truth of one's first year and the oft times pathetic compensation. I encourage you to just be diligent in your research.
I know scores of good guys and gals who went in believing the recruiter and the ads promising the moon only to learn the hard way that things can turn out quite differently once you hit first seat. Not to mention the fact that, my God man, you have five toddlers at home and you are going OTR for at least a year?
Good luck to you in your endeavors. Your energy and excitement is palpable. I just hope it will sustain you and your family during your first year with Pam.

If your books describe the truth about the bears "adventures" in the trucking world....most depressing book series EVER. There is nothing glamorous or exciting about this JOB for man or bear.

    Chapter 1
Mr. Charlie goes to Hunts Point

I have done my research about PAM, PRIME, USA, CR-England, Warner, and a few others. The same story no matter what company it is. My Step-Father is a trainer for Warner my mother has driven for Swift, CCC, and McMillan Brothers. There is good and bad with every company. Good thing is this will not be our only income. I still own a Information Technology Company in Oklahoma and my wife works for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services so money will not be an issue. With the technology that I have at my finger tips I will have constant connections to my family, but thank you for your concern and support.

The truth about trucking is not depressing. I grew up as a truckers son I found it fascinating. The bear will be the way that I teach not only my children but others as well about the trucks, the different places in the US, and how products end up in stores.

Everything in life has a silver lining you just have to look for it and the things that we as adults don't find to be exciting and down right fun are far different from a child's mind would.

*Mr. Charlie goes to Hunts Point* EWWWW I hate Hunts Point (been there in the truck with my mom once or twice!)
