I kept my MO license for almost two years before I finally switched it to IL on my own. PAM never said anything to me about it.

Yah... my book says you pay 44 paymenst of $45. That's $1980 at the end of the year. I really like the vacations! 1 week after 1year: 2 after 2: 3 after 5. Alot of companies I've looked at have their 3 week vacation at 10+ years!

PAM

Thanks Scarecrow for you answers and advice. I've been looking for a company to start with. My application was accepted for Stevens and CR, but after reading the Ripp off report web site I was scared about these two companies. Well you know for what I read. Today I found this web site, I already talk to a Driver Solution's recruter. I have read all the information they send me and for what I read here I think I will go to their school in Arkansas. Any advice will be highly appreciated...

Thanks
Edwin

yeah edwin

stevens and cre are desperate companies in my view, stevens called me every day for like 10 days wanting me to come to their school and cre went to the point where they offered me cdl school for 1000 bucks around the holidays.

im still trying to stick out a year at my current job even though i hate it just so i maintain a solid work history. and was thinking about signing on with millis or pam usa or ffe in the near future or go to school locally. pam and millis are high on my list. Ive been glad to hear a lot of good about pam recently.

Does AFS have the same hire requirements as PAM? If so, do they hire in Central ,FL? I am attending CDL school in the fall and am considering Southern Cal, but PAM and AFS seems to be more friendly toward my needs. IE I need a lot idling due to my sinus infections and sleeping disorder.

ChipW (or anyone)... I went to the P.A.M. website and I could not find their pay scale. Do you or anyone know what it is? (If it has been posted here I am sorry for asking the question again)?

AFS has the same hiring requirements as PAM. It is a PAM company....

Pay starts out at .28 per mile as a rookie. Raises your first year up to .31 per mile. Then .01 per mile every year after that...

Pam

Bigpapa, the same happen to me, Steven was calling me too and CR that everything was ready, however neither one answered many questions I had.

I will be attending school in Arkansas on March 24th, I will tell you how is everything there with PAM. "keep in touch".

For the guy that was asking if Pam needs people in central Florida...I am from North Central Florida and that's one of the reasons I'm going with them
