Going into my second week at C1 Ft. Worth Texas. The class room is at a shopping center off of I35. The class rooms are very nice and well maintained with overhead projectors and chalk boards. The room can easily accommodate 25 students. I found the instructors very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question. All instructors have years and years of truck driving experience. We have students from all over the US come to this location.

As for the Trucks on the Range, I found that the two trucks that are used for break and pre-inspections are ragged out. That is what one would expect to see doing those learning exercises. The trucks that are used on the road and used for the students testing are all well maintained and in good condition.

I have talked to other folks that went to other schools and was told that they were not given the opportunity to practice 45 and 90 backing and other things that a driver needs to know.

So for I am very satisfied with my training and training sites.

Hey Brickman, glad to hear its going well now that beginning BS is over. I am nearing the end of my time at C1 Ft Wayne. I take the state test on Monday. It seems like yesterday that I first read your post about the C1 Indy school. Good Luck and I'll be out there soon, running with Decker but I'm sure our paths will cross sometime. Can you PM me the name of the first trainer that wasn't great. I wanna be sure that I don't get into his truck?

HEY Brickman, I passed the state test and now hold a Class A CDL. What a relief. Thanks for getting back with me on that trainer name. Now just waiting to call my rep to set up pick-up time. Thanks for starting this thread also, it really helped me prepare for the C1 school. I'll post my progress as I begin training. Perhaps I should start my own thread, hmmm. Well gotta go I will look for your continued progress and wish you the best.
