| I have a neighbor 3 houses down that works for P.A.M. Transport. Last night (07-02-2009) he started his truck and left it running non-stop for a total of 7 hours while they were away. It has been unusually cool (air) these last 3 days. Would like to have had the windows open last night but couldn't because his tractor was left running. Our city ordinance does not allow a semi to be in the neighborhood unless it is loading/unloading...let alone running for 7 hours. This has been going on for 11 months now but last night was just too much. Now we could just call the police department but I do not want the guy in trouble....but he needs to have more respect for his neighbors. So I have been looking for a site (for P.A.M.) to complain about a driver and have had no luck. Does anyone know an e-mail address to complain to? I tried P.A.M. human resources and it comes back as undeliverable. P.A.M. payroll email does NOT come back so I emailed them and no response so far. Appreciate any responses given |

| I drive for the same company. They do not like us to idle if not needed. You will need to give them his truck number that is on the front of the truck. The number will start with a 26, 33, of 69? I dont want to see a fellow driver go down, but I dont want our company name smeared either. If he continues after talk, call the 800 number for company and they will listen. Good Luck |

| One or the other. Talk to him or the company unless you know him. What if you talk to him and then the company and then he gets fired and goes off? He now knows who you are and where you live. |

| So what, at some point we have to be a civil society and try to work out problems without outside interference. We as good upstanding citizens cannot be afraid of our neighbors. I feel sorry for those who go through life scared of what might happen. Becaise they miss out on what did happen, because they didnt allow anything to happen. |

| Best thing to do, is just meet with him, the next time you see him. Ask him nicely about not letting it run so long. If he refuses, or if he says he will, but does it again, by all means, contact the company. Give them the tractor number, the big red letters off the side of the hood. Like 23465. Had a friend that had a problem with a Walmart driver parking truck and trailer in their small neighborhood. He tried asking the guy if he couldn't park it somewhere else. Guy would not do it. So, my friend filed a complaint with city officials, and Walmart. No more truck.

Just like I laid it out. You talk to him, he says screw off and you go to the company and they have been waiting for a valid reason to can him. They do, now you have to worry about leaving your family alone with a wingnut with a grudge living a few houses down. |

| Are you trying to say this particular driver is not mentally stable, or are you saying all drivers are not mentally stable? Or, mankind it self is not mentally stable? Due to your response, you are just singling out one truck driver. Do you not complain about anything? Have you ever gone to a restaurant and eaten the food given to you even though it is not exactly what you ordered, because you are afraid that if you complain, someone in the kitchen might spit in it? It isn't right for you to feel imprisoned in your own home and neighborhood, based on what "might" happen. As I have already suggested ask him the next time you see him. Be nice, don't be confrontational. If you confront someone, it will only make them defensive, and can lead to a path you didn't want to go down. Talk to him on a personal level, ask him what it's like driving a truck. After a bit of good natured conversation, just ask him if why he would need to idle his truck at home, for a long time. Ask him if he could limit his idling time.
