Go to a real rad and a/c shop they'll always have a couple suppliers and can just look at it and tell what else will fit it and work properly. Sometimes OEM prices are good and sometimes they're crazy. Its up to you to find out which way to go.

I do get 15% off on parts from MHC through the company lm leased to. But still... those prices they quoted you are way off .. I will say when you get what you consider a fair price with someone keep calling around and checking. Theylll usually ask you how much you were told elsewhere and then tell you they can beat it by 5 or 10 bucks. I saved another 80 bucks on ujoints like that

Got the receiver-drier from Fleetpride for 60 bones. They didn't have the expansion valve and neither did Kenworth. Kenworth said they would have sold it to me for $80. I reluctantly bought from Pete as they were waiting for the parts at my mechanic's place.

You should check with OOiDA and see if members get a discount on parts at some of the chain pete or kw dealers possibly even fleetpride. I know if youre a member and you show your card at a rush pete service center they will supposedly move you to the front of the wait line should you be unfortunate enough to have to use a rush dealer for work.

I use Rush Truck Center in Mobile Al. I use the same salesman everytime I buy a part and he always gives me a price that is as god as or better than I can get anywhere else. If I do find it cheaper he will match it. ( This rarely happens) Most of the time I don't even check anymore unless its an expensive part.... I know he will do the best he can and he knows that if I am in town when it breaks I will come to him for the part.

For Cummins, You can find part numbers here: https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html
They have all the schematics, showing parts and parts numbers. it is a little difficult to find some parts, you have to keep opening new schematics from the part numbers in the list below.
However I have not figured out how you can buy them from here. there is a shopping cart and everything, but no pricing and you can not check out...

    Check this out:

    https://www.peterbiltparts.com/search-results?combine=ac+expansion+valve
I know nothing of these guys but it seems like a good source for parts and pricing.

    http://trpparts.com/Parts/Search?searchTerm=ac+expansion+valve
The 2nd link is recommended by Peterbilt website see: (http://partsandservice.peterbilt.com/partsresources/)
Edit: Nevermind this last link (TRP), it refers you back to nearest dealership in your area. show no pricing and does not sell online..

I was also looking for parts for my Pete, ISX15
