    I've tried my manual, tried online with no luck. Anyone know offhand what bulb the 387 uses for headlights? I want to replace mine. My truck's parked at our local truckstop, just thought I'd post before running down there and taking all that apart.

    Remove the bulk and check the number and wattage etc. on it and put if back in until you find another.

    gears, you will have to pull the cover off yours and double check me, but it is either a 9003 or 4 or 9007, all are redily available at walmart/autozone/etc.

    The purpose of my original post was so I wouldn't have to go to my truck, open the hood, get tools out and remove the light cover from behind and check that way.

    I was thinking 9007 too, but since nobody is sure, I'll have to run down there tomorrow and find out to be certain.

    i thought of this on the way to work this morning, dont know why i didnt when i posted above, my 97 ford ranger uses the same bulb, 9007. dooh!
