Hi, thanks for the code 46 reading. I've got an 01 Freightliner with a 12.7. Same story, just bought it. The red engine light flashes a 25. I'm assuming that that's an all clear code. The yellow light is flashing a 46 and a 16. The Dash readout is displaying 2 active codes.

Are those codes the same between mfgr's? My truck starts fine, sometimes slow so maybe I have a dead cell in one of the batteries. But what's the 16?

Any help appreciated, I didn't want to start a new thread, I'm searching through the threads to see if my question is already answered. Thanks.

Also it's fast idling 900 rpm. Didn't have any problems with the way it ran bobtail for the 350 mile trip home.

25 is no active codes 16 is low water sensor. Could be an old code that was never cleared out. 46 is answered here.
