91 pete will not accelerate....

    Hello I am really looking for some help here...First my truck just shut down and would not start, well I fixed that by replacing a gear with the air compressor now it starts but it will not accelerate... When I push on the gas pedal the rpm's don't even go up..Any suggestions???:biggrin_2555:

    Is the check engine lite on? Sounds like it may be the potentiometer on the throttle pedal

    I had an oil sensor fail on my Cummins and it did that....It needs a diagnostic run because that could be caused by a number of things.
