OK, I know this subject has been touched on in a couple places on the forum but I still have to ask. Does anyone know where or who makes a good replacement headlight for the 377 without going back to Peterbilt? Anyone who has driven this model knows the light beam stinks and the lens yellows up in no time.
There is mention on the forum in another thread of a cross over light from Audi. In fact the thread states the light IS an Audi light but with plastic lens instead of glass as in Europe. It states that Peterbilt used this light under license with their name on it. Freightliner did the same thing a few years before with a Mercedes light, or so it's stated in that same thread.
I can't seem to find any clairfication on this to warrant risking $135.00 on ebay only to find they don't fit and I have a nice set of Audi headlights I absolutely don't need. I asked the seller on eBay about this and they don't have a clue and reminded me that they are selling this light for Audi's, not Peterbilts. No returns, only exchange for another part of my choosing.
If there is anyone out there with knowledge please help all of us 377 owners out. You may even be able to sell this kind of information in a headlight re-work kit and make a fortune. The only other path I see to fix this pathetic flaw is to glass up the well and install a pair of double rectangles like in so many other models.
Thanks for any and all assistance with this.

There is also a dual headlight version of the hood. It may be possible to fit the headlamps and mounting hardware in place of the aero lens.

The Audi lights do not fit correctly as I have been told by a couple of O/O's that have tried this. Contact Hella with the OEM part numbers for the headlights and sometimes they have in stock at reduced prices over a dealer. Otherwise you can modify your hood to accept lamp brackets and single lights like I have done mine. The fiberglass work is a big task but very doable. Good luck!

What I've seen many people do is order the factory 377 headlamp "Black-outs" and install the JJ Headlamps in their place. Just another option.

A Peterbilt dealer told me the lights were the same as the 80s ford tempo. never heard the Audi thing. So obviously, there is no kit to just go ahead and change to dual rectangles? I have seen a few trucks out there with it done. Self- fabricated I guess. Perhaps using the Freightliner FLD lights? Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

Saw double headlight version on a 87 model Pete 377. Anyone know if that's factory?

Peterbilt did offer these trucks with dual glass headlights but they are expensive if you want to buy new

I'd say this is a pretty good solution. Easier to find replacement bulbs for the future:
