Rebushing an Air Leaf
Do I need to remove the spring from the hanger or can I just pull the bolt and put the new bushing in through the hole in the hanger?

Are you also replacing the steel sleeves?
When I do that job I get the bracket at the front of the spring and replace the bracket, u-bolt, sleeve and bushings, thru bolt and washers, along with new spring to bracket bolts where it's shimmed. The bolts that hold the shims are usually seized and break off when loosened to align the axle. You want to use antiseize on those bolts when going together with it.Last edited by bender; 07.29.2012 at 01.02 AM.
