Hello, first let me say I am not well versed in mechanical lingo, so please bear that in mind lol. We have a 2013 587, we blow fuses for the power outlets on a regular basis but know the location of the one that continues to blow. We do not have a lot plugged in so I cant understand why it continues to blow, but that life on the road I suppose. My question is the two outlets that are located in the "cubby holes" above the closets. They have never worked but we can't locate the slot for the fuse because our "fuse map" is incorrect. i am guessing that there is not a fuse in there at all and never has been, a lot of the slots are empty. Its always a guessing game whenever we have to find and replace a fuse.

My question is this, does anyone know where the fuse slot for that particular set of outlets is? I am assuming that all of the 587's are the same of course.

Additionally, are there different types of fuses that last longer or perform better. I know that sounds silly, but most everything in the world has a cheap version and a quality version...thanks for any help

its the fuse under the bunk, and at the head of it. We have a cooler plugged into the under bunk outlet, and a small inverter plugged into the one at the head of the bunk. Tablets get plugged in to that one. 15 amp fuses...(?) This most recent time, when the cooler plugin quit working, the one at the head did not, so i dont think its a fuse issue anymore as far as that plug goes. If i can get the closet top plugs working that would solve the problem because that would leave only one thing plugged in on each fuse...right?

An inverter regardless of size sucks juice and it is proportional to what it is running. fifteen amp is just big enough for a Cooler. You also need to look at how tight the plugs are. If the plug is working loose, it will eventually spark a couple times when regaining contact. This will cause your fuse to blow. Can't help you with the other plugs.

Just replace the fuse with a circuit breaker fuse. So everytime it blows it'll trip the circuit and it will reset by its self you won't have replace it or anything.
