    Hi,

I have a 2002 320 cab over garbage truck that has no power between the ignition and the starter. I have test the fuses in the center of the cab and the 3 in the battery box and I have tested the relay in the battery box as well. Any ideas.

Had the same problem, except the boss installed a new starter, new relay and all, still didn't start, found out it was the constant +12v wire coming into the relay, that when the key was turned to "start" it would ground out, found the wire had stripped due to age/vibration. Replaced said wire, and all is good again. Hope this helps

    Chris_Abrams Thanks this.

Which wire are you referring to? I finally got power to the ignition and continuity on the wire that goes from ignition on the key switch to the board. From there I cannot test as my calls to Peterbilt for electric wiring diagrams have not resulted in anything. Anyone know where i can get the diagrams for the 320?

I still do not have any power to the electronic shifter control in the cab. I took off the cover over the wires and nothing is labelled.

Well they sent the truck into the shop since I did not have the time and ends up that there is a fuse-able link on the line that powers the transmission. Glad they could fix it but wish they would had told me where to find it in the first place as it would have saved a $1000 tow job to the shop.

Well I have a 2003 Peterbilt 320 with a Cat 3126 and an Allison 3000 series... The diag cpu can't read the vehicle, so i have a short somewhere between the ignition, ECM/TCM/Trans. Anyone have a wiring diagram so i can try and fix this myself?? Chris - did you ever get a diagram?

Sadly no, It ended up getting towed into the service center ($1000 tow) for a burnt out fuse-able link.
