i have a 2003 peterbilt 385 with a cat c12 yesterday while driving down the road it died but started right back up , on its own-didn't have time to hit the key before it started backup all the dash lights and buzzers come on just like it does when youi turn the key on. it is just like you turn the key off and back on real quick.today it got a lot worse does it about every 5seconds sometimes alittle longer sometimes instantly,i can't even drive it now it idles like it should you can rev it up just sitting runs perfect never cuts out at all,i can hold it at 2000 rpms no problem but put it in gear and it won't go 100 feet untilit starts. with it ideling i got under the truck and pulled and shook all the wiring and could not make it cut out also shook all wires at the ecm, nothing....i replaced the ecm didn't make a difference also changed fuel pump although i am certain it is electrical if not why would my ignition lights and buzzers come on every time it cuts out. any help or direction to look in would be greatly appricated STUMPPED

Should be one. What speed was u doing? Does it do it around that speed? Best bet call a dealer ask them where the other comp is and see about getting it replaced. I'm pretty sure this is prob. My buddy had same prob when he hit 71 would lose all power n come back on within 2 secs

it does it at different speeds, its so bad that i can't get to about 50 mph , every once in awhile it will stay on long enough to get to 70 mph but not very often. as soon as i start rolling it starts. it does it in every gear

Bad oil pressure sending unit. It may be getting a disruption in oil pressure telling the ECM to kill the engine.
