lipe clutch throw out bearing

    Put a lipe clutch in my truck 2 years ago and love it. Took motor out for repair and found the throw out bearing brake face had come loose also one of the bushings in the bearing had come out. Nothing wrong with the clutch but i cant just buy the bearing.called customer service super nice lady. Question is does the lipe bearing cross with another manufacture.i just want the bearing not the whole clutch. Thanks

    i have bought several of those bearings from lipe. we had some of the first ones they made and there was a problem with them. call lipe at 731-642-4215 and ask for monte james. he gave me his card in louisville a couple years ago and i called him a few months ago and they found a dealer close to me since my other dealer had quit. that guy had no trouble getting it for me. i cant find his number or id give you that. it was like $130 if i remember right.

    Were you able to replace only the bearing assembly? If so can one do this while clutch is bolted up to the flywheel(trans pulled back out of pilot)? Mine is the Lipe 1. That plate came loose also and black plastic pieces fell out.
