cruise control, shudders and shakes

    i have a 97 pete with DD 60. i fliip the cruise control on and it rides fine but every once and awile it begins to shudder, as if the cruise control is being shut off and then quickly placed back on. this seems to go on sporatically ever time i place it on cruise. it doesnt feel or sound good so it must mean it aint good. anyone have any ideas on what causes this so i an get t fixing it? Thanks

    while it is acting up,look at your speedo and see if it is also jumping around.sounds like vss problem,transmission output yoke loose,exciter ring or sensor loose or bad.good luck.

    Mine does that from time to time, ('98 377 with DD60) but it happens with or without the speed control engaged. I'm told that it's a bad injector, but it's not bad enough yet to worry about spending the money it would take to figure out which one and get it replaced.
